Below you will find an audio recording of the Dryden High School Winter Concert for 2015. Any students wanting to make up work or earn extra credit may listen to the 4 chorus songs and write at least one paragraph each about what they hear. Paragraphs must include complete sentences with language about the musical elements learned in chorus such as:
Diction
Pitch/Intonation
Rhythm
Energy
Phrasing
Balance
Dynamics
Unity/Syncronization
Blend
Style
Entrances/Cutoffs
Students may write about both strengths and deficiencies they hear in the performance, but must always back up their opinion with both musical detail about what they hear and identifying the part of the song and/or the part of the chorus they are describing.
Extra credit work will be accepted up until our Winter Break.
